Meet Jen!

I was a Labor and Delivery nurse when I became a mother for the first time, and thought my professional experience would make breastfeeding a breeze. However, I encountered many early challenges and discovered first-hand that, outside of my own professional network, breastfeeding support was lacking in my community. As I learned how to help myself through my own struggles, I discovered my passion for breastfeeding and all things lactation! As my knowledge base and skills grew, I knew I wanted to serve breastfeeding families in an advanced role so I became an IBCLC in 2007 and haven’t looked back!

During my 10 years as an IBCLC at a large Fort Worth hospital, I welcomed our second daughter and completed a Master's program to become a  Family Nurse Practitioner. In the Family Medicine Clinic setting I was able to continue to care for newborns and their families while developing advanced lactation skills. With the launch of my private practice in 2022, I am excited to focus solely on education and low milk supply support in addition to Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine services! I would be honored to partner with you at any point in your lactation journey!
