Financial Policy
All visits are fee for service unless pre-approved through The Lactation Network for insurance coverage. HSA/FSA cards are accepted unless prohibited by your plan or a Superbill can be provided for you to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Deposits, Booking Fees and Visit Fees
Full payment is due at time of booking and a credit card on file (through Stripe) is required for all self-pay visits. Alternative payment method can be made through Zelle, Venmo or PayPal by request. Appointment day/time is not guaranteed until full payment is received. All TLN pre-approved visits will incur a booking free of $25 whether in-home or virtual. You will be invoiced after checkout and all fees must be paid before appointment time is confirmed.
Travel Fee for Home Visits
Travel up to 25 miles each way is included in your visit fee. Mileage is calculated via Google Maps from 250 Westmoreland Rd. in Greer, SC (Pelham Medical Center) to your home address. You can calculate your mileage here. Extended travel fee for >50 miles round trip applies whether self-pay or TLN insurance covered and is generally $50. See service area here.
After Hours Visits
Availability for after-hours visits is limited and generally reserved for infants <1 month old. Any after hours fee is due at time of booking and applies whether self-pay or insurance pre-approved through TLN.
After Hours Telehealth: Mon - Thurs 06:00-09:00 PM (EST) and Weekends 09:00 AM-3:00 PM (EST) - +$50
After Hours Home Visit: Saturday/Sunday 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM - +$100
Medicare/Medicaid and Low Income Families
We strive to provide care for all and do offer a limited number of discounted visits for families with financial challenge. Please inquire if financial constraints are keeping you from seeking care.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Cancellations >24 hours before scheduled appointment time: Any fees paid will be refunded in full via original payment method minus any processing charges charged to me by the payment processor (typically 2.9% + $0.30).
Cancellations <24 hours before scheduled appointment time: Cancellation fee is $50. Any fees paid in excess of $50 will be refunded via original payment method. If fees paid are <$50, the balance will be charged to your credit card on file or you will be invoiced if you are a TLN pre-approved client.
No Shows: There is no refund for telehealth visit no shows or if I show up to your home and you are not available for our visit as scheduled. For telehealth visits if you are having difficulty connecting please reach out via contact information below and an alternative way of connecting will be provided. If there is a valid reason you cannot do a home visit as planned please contact me as soon as you know and a telehealth visit may be available as an alternative. For no shows, your credit card on file will be charged the visit fee or you will be invoiced if you are a TLN pre-approved client.
Prenatal Hand Expression Skills Session Cancellation: For cancellation BEFORE supplies are shipped (virtual visit only), a full refund will be provided minus any payment processing charges charged to me by the payment processor. There is a $25 charge for supplies/shipping if cancelled AFTER supplies have been shipped and the supplies are yours to keep.
Concierge Lab Package Cancellation: For cancellation BEFORE labs are drawn, a full refund will be provided. There is no refund after labs have already been drawn.
