Prenatal Lactation Prep 

Partner with a Family Nurse Practitioner/IBCLC to screen for underlying medical conditions or hormonal imbalance that may impact lactation and prepare for breastfeeding success. This service is intended to complement a comprehensive Prenatal Consultation with your IBCLC or other lactation professional.

Consider booking a Prenatal Lactation Prep Visit if:​

• History of low milk supply

• Lack of breast changes during pregnancy

• Hormonal imbalance: thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, gestational diabetes

• History of fertility challenges

• History of breast surgery or bariatric surgery 

• Proactive planning and reassurance​​​​

Prenatal Lactation Prep package ($200) includes: Initial Telehealth Visit (Intake and Lab Order) and Follow Up Telehealth Visit to Discuss Lab Results and Care Plan
