Prenatal Feeding Consultation

Service Description

We offer comprehensive Prenatal Feeding Consultations with a Family Nurse Practitioner/IBCLC to plan and prepare for lactation. After a comprehensive assessment and review of history and risk factors, we will work together to develop a personalized to achieve your goals. You’ll learn colostrum hand expression (if appropriate), discuss breast pump selection, discuss flange sizing and more! Lab tests are available to screen for underlying conditions that may impact lactation and milk supply. All families and feeding goals are welcome! Please note: This is not a Prenatal Lactation Class and is 100% individualized for you. It is meant to complement comprehensive education and hands-on care with an IBCLC after delivery. If you need recommendations for an IBCLC near you for hands-on support once baby arrives, we are happy to help!
