​I'm Jennifer Gerard, a Nurse Practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with a passion for making complex healthcare information accessible, practical, and meaningful.

My clinical background has shaped my understanding of the challenges families face during lactation and postpartum recovery, as well as the need for clear, evidence-informed educational resources that support both parents and healthcare professionals.

I founded Advanced Lactation Care to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and practical understanding. Through educational guides, professional resources, and the Recovery Systems™ framework, I focus on helping families better understand the interconnected processes that influence lactation and postpartum recovery.

Today, my work is dedicated exclusively to education and resource development. I create materials that empower parents with knowledge and provide healthcare professionals with tools to strengthen patient education and support informed clinical discussions.
